Anyone who knows me knows my favorite season is autumn – there’s something about crisp, cool air that makes me (and Mister) deliriously happy. I also happen to LOVE pumpkin spice … uhhh, everything! If you do too, you’re gonna love this cranberry smoothie – oh and it’s a perfect breakfast alongside your pumpkin spice latte 😉
I drink it all year-round, it’s super healthy, full of fiber and protein – win-win!
Cranberry Almond Smoothie
Add the diced pear and cranberries to your blender, blend on low.
Add almonds, honey and almond extract, blend on low for 30 seconds and then high until creamy and smooth.
Add almond milk as needed to reach your desired consistency.
Pour into a tall glass, sprinkle with a few crushed almonds and enjoy!
*The night before: Place the almonds in a bowl and cover them with 2 cups of water. Soak overnight, then drain and squeeze each almond gently to remove the skins.
