We are always testing delicious vegan smoothies here at Vegan Test Kitchen because they are so easy to prepare and enjoy! Whether you’re new to vegan eating, or you’re a long-time vegan, our delicious vegan smoothies are an absolute must when you’re in a rush and craving something tasty.
Light & Healthy
Since it’s officially fall now in the US, we’ve been longing for creamy, autumn-inspired vegan food! Enter this Creamy Sweet Potato Smoothie. It’s bursting with scrumptious sweet potato flavor, smooth almond-milk goodness and sweet cinnamon spices.
Morning Must-Have
I personally believe it’s the best smoothie recipe for those moments when you’re rushing out the door to make that morning meeting, but still want something quick to eat on the way. A few of our taste-testers love it for lunch too! It’s so simple to prepare, and you can quite honestly top it with anything you’d like for an added boost of flavor and texture. We sprinted some granola that we got for nearly 50% off at Thrive Market. Make sure to read the Shop The Post section below the recipe to discover the exact granola we used in this smoothie! It was literally perfection in a smoothie cup y’all!
Creamy & Delicious Cauliflower
Now, you may be thinking, there’s cauliflower in this smoothie?! Yep! You read that correctly. The truth is, cauliflower is a very versatile vegetable! It not only tastes amazing in our favorite Buffalo Cauliflower Tacos, but in this smoothie too. It add the perfect amount of creaminess that traditional yogurt does and pairs wonderfully with the silky smooth almond-milk.
The Ultimate Almond Milk
One of the ways we determine what ingredients to suggest to you is by testing and re-testing each recipe multiple time. And, with multiple taste-testers (3-5 on average)! This way you can make the same recipe, and as long as you use the ingredients we mention below you’re likely to have close to identical results! Our favorite almond-milk for this smoothie was New Barn’s Barista Almondmilk blend.
Oh, and can I mention their Barista blend is absolutely wonderful in coffee too? The best!

New Barn: A Genuine Brand With Transparency At Heart
What I love most about New Barn’s products is their transparency. Sure, their almond milk tastes incredible, but they also are incredibly transparent with their ingredients and sourcing decisions. Upfront and honest is what you’ll get. Isn’t that what we all want after-all?
Bonus
Their Almond Milk is certified vegan. Like I mentioned above, it tastes amazing in coffee too! I’ll be totally honest, finding an alternative to dairy creamer was the only thing I struggled with when going vegan. Now that I found this Barista blend, I look forward to waking up early just to pour myself a huge cup of hot, steamy coffee with their foaming almond milk blend – YUM. I think you’ll love it too!
