Vegan Breakfast Smoothie
It’s summertime here in New England, which means hot, humid days that are not going anywhere anytime soon! While I personally LOVE this weather, I have to admit, a cool refreshing smoothie really is necessary. Who wants to eat hot oatmeal for breakfast, or steamy soup for lunch when it’s 90 degrees outside? Not this girl!

Oh, and did I mention the helpful emails that comes with the challenge too? Yep, that’s part of the deal! 🙂
You really can’t go wrong with this challenge! If you’re new to eating vegan it’s a smart way to replace one meal a day! That’s how I started when I went vegan. I just replaced my eggs and toast with a delicious, fruity (and sometimes nutty) vegan smoothie! To be honest, they all tasted much better than the boring yogurt and fruit smoothies I drank in the past, so making the switch was a no-brainer!
If you’ve been vegan for a long time, you can join the challenge too! Why not mix things up? You can incorporate new and different nutrients into the mix and boost your nutrition and quite possibly your immune system too!
The vegan Smoothie Challenge is a cool way to incorporate more plant-based foods and meals into your diet. Give it a shot! These recipes blend a variety of flavors and nutrients, making it fun for your tastebuds and healthy for your body and mind. A few more plant-based meals a day (or week) never hurt nobody! 😉

My Favorite Smoothie Gadgets & Products
Y’all, I’m a big fan of this Vitamix Blender ($349) which is admittedly pricy upfront but blends your smoothie into creamy, cool perfection in seconds! It totally worth your investment and lasts a lifetime. So important for vegans since we eat so many nuts – the normal blenders just don’t cut it!
Other high quality blenders I like are the Nutri-Bullet Pro for $79 which is great because you can blend and go with the portable travel tumbler! My other fave’s include these winners, some of which are also ON SALE right now!
Ninja Pro $199 on sale for $169
Blendtec Designer 725 for a whopping $750 but now on sale for $599
Oh and I’m in LOVE with this Vega Protein Powder, I’ve been using it for years in my pre and post gym smoothies and it tastes better than ANY other protein powder I’ve ever tasted, and that’s a lot! Plus it comes in an affordable to-go pouch, pretty convenient!
