Tropical Coconut, Ginger & Mango Smoothie
This deliciously fresh vegan fruit smoothie tastes amazing and is extremely healthy! It's perfect to drink when the weather gets cool and you want to boost your immune system.
Ingredients
- 1 blood or navel orange, peeled and chopped
- 1 carrot, peeled and grated
- 1/2 c frozen mango chunks
- 2/3 c coconut water
- 3/4 tsp fresh ginger, grated
- 1 1/2 tsp fresh turmeric, grated See Note
- pinch sea salt
- pinch cayenne pepper
Instructions

Combine the chopped orange, carrots and coconut watering a blender on high until combined.

Add the frozen mango chunks, grated ginger, grated turmeric, sea salt and cayenne pepper and blend once more until creamy and smooth.

Pour into a previously chilled glass, dust with additional cayenne pepper (if desired) and enjoy!
Notes & More
Note: Don't have fresh turmeric? No problem! Follow the formula below to substitute dried for fresh!
1 inch fresh turmeric = 1 tablespoon freshly grated turmeric = 1 teaspoon ground turmeric
